Cancerbane is a mythical creature in Greek mythology. Its portrayal often shows it as a multi-headed canine guarding the gates of the underworld. In some myths, Cancerbero has three heads, while in others it can
have up to nine separate heads. The word "cancerbero" is additionally used to refer to a fierce and unyielding guardian.
